Yoga for Athletes

Yoga can be a powerful tool for athletes. In this workshop we’ll explore how adding yoga to a variety of sports can help create overall balance, increase coordination and help athletes to drop into the ‘zone’. This workshop will focus on an understanding of the body and various muscle systems used in

several yoga poses. When you have a deeper understanding of your body, you can increase flexibility where you need it and increase strength in areas of weakness. We will conclude with a variety of meditations and visualizations that help improve the mental discipline of an athlete. We will also be incorporating the therapuetic usage of essential oils for athletes as part of the workshop
