Don your cloak and sword, and come on an adventure into the wild with us!
We are planning a full-garb ranger day-hike for February 20th, 2016 in the Castlewood Canyon State Park, just outside Franktown.
DISCLAIMER: This is more than just a costume get-together or photo session. We plan to be actively
hiking, and since winter weather in Colorado is extremely unpredictable, we want to make sure everyone is fully prepared for anything we might encounter. This means you will need: WARM, PRACTICAL CLOTHING AND GOOD FOOTWEAR (PREFERABLY WITH TRACTION), while still being in keeping with the basic garb of a "ranger." While this is not an over-night trek, we also encourage everyone to pack as if it were, if they are so inclined, just for a bit of practice (but this is by no means required).
Overall, we just want a fun day-hike with good friends and funny clothes - and hopefully, to learn new skills along the way as well! We hope you can join us!
