After a short 6 year production, 'Welcome To Essex' is finally finished, or “in the can” as we movie types are supposed to say (but never will). Everything is nailed down, locked in and polished to a fine sheen, proving that old adage quite incorrect, and the completed film is ready to be seen by the
We have been asked to not only show the film at the Romford Film Festival but to open the whole festival, which is a big deal and about as prestigious a slot as you could hope for. The festival will play host to the UK premiere of Welcome To Essex, (the world premiere was at some festival in Detroit or something, I dunno; none of us went), and it's this that you are being invited to because you are signed up to the exclusive and, until now, silent Welcome To Essex mailing group.
You and as many friends and family as you can muster can now get tickets to the UK premiere of Welcome To Essex on the opening night of the Romford Film Festival for just £4 each. And according to our accountants, that's less than a fiver!
There will be a red carpet thing going on for our movie before the screening itself. This will then be followed by a live Q&A with the crew and cast. After this, there'll be photo ops and autographs and whatnot to be had out in the foyer.
There will also be the opportunity to get a pre-release copy of the film on DVD at the exclusive merch table. This DVD will only be sold at the premiere and can be signed by anyone you can grab (they'll all have those silver pens on them).
The date for all this awesomeness is the 24th May, 2018, and the venue is Premiere Cinemas in the Liberty Mall in Romford, Essex. The flick starts at 9pm but you'll want to be there before that to get in on the fun and games!
To get your seats, a chance to get photos and autographs, as well as listen to the hilarious Q&A session AND grab an early-release DVD of the movie you were in, and get it signed, follow the link below.
Spread the word too- the more the merrier! Bring everyone! (As long as they're over 18, obvs.)
By the way, the makers of Welcome To Essex, Smoking Monkey Productions, the cast, crew and anyone else connected with the production, have absolutely no control over the festival whatsoever, so if you have any specific questions about the venue, drinks costs, etc., contact the cinema or the festival, not us. Ta!
