On Saturday the 10th November we will mark the centenary of the end of the First World War. A centre-piece of the South West's commemorations will be a concert hosted by The Royal British Legion Bristol Poppy Appeal and produced by Richard Hope-Hawkins at Bristol Cathedral. This will bring together
musical talent from across the region, culminating in a performance by the Orchestra and 120 Members of the Choir passionately conducted by Francis Faux, of Karl Jenkins' The Peacemakers, which was composed in 2011 and dedicated to the memory of all those who lost their lives during armed conflict. * We are currently looking for sponsors to help us create a fitting tribute to all who served, sacrificed and changed our World. Please contact Sue Potepa at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details. Tickets for this event will go on sale from June.
