Unnata® Aerial Yoga combines traditional yoga with aerial training. A low-hung fabric trapeze is used to refine yoga poses, and build and strengthen the whole body. This Unnata Aerial Yoga class starts by working your core muscles and cultivating all over strength, enabling you to energize while you build strength and flexibility using the awesome power of gravity! Then, wind down with more gentle therapeutic yoga moves, using gravity to lengthen and stretch and Pratayama (yogic breathing), this mellow ending will leave you feeling open, refreshed and relaxed.
Come dressed comfortably with a shirt that won't fall over your head when inverted & bring your mat. 1 person per fabric trapeze - space is limited! 3-4:30pm Sun. 2/28

Bio: Jenn Liang-Chaboud has a long history of movement arts, from dancing to figure skating to aerial arts. In college she discovered yoga and found it to be the perfect way to stretch and strengthen the body while relaxing her busy mind. She discovered Unnata® in 2008 and found it to be the perfect blend of her love of yoga and being in the air. Jenn has been teaching Unnata® Aerial Yoga since 2009. She feels that Unnata® is a freeing way of exploring some of the intricacies of the poses.... while having the relaxation of a hammock on the beach!
