Where did it all begin? In case you have not done your history, obstacle racing as we know it really began in 1987 at the Tough Guy in Wolverhampton UK when a rather unique chap by the name Mr Mouse threw something together that many emulated and replicated around the world.
It's still running to this
day, and our BFF's at Obstacle Racing Media in the US and Obstacle Race Magazine in the UK have given us a shout-out to see if any Aussies and Kiwis would like to head across at the end of January 2016 for one big international hookup.
Wolverhampton is about 2 hours out of London, average return airfare is to Heathrow is $2200, and whilst we are there we can do the Monopoly Board Pub Crawl!
Take a look at the promo video, but be advised that the average temperature at Wolverhampton at this time of year is 7 or 8 degrees, and Carl from Obstacle Race Magazine has indicated that there's a 50% drop out rate from hypothermia! Shark Skins could be a definite goer...
