"The Odds Against U.S." is play written and performed in poetry verse and highlights the realities of urban youth but from their own perspective. Statistics often remind us of how many urban youth are dropping out, getting pregnant, going to jail, the rate at which they killing one another and the list
goes on but we rarely get to hear from the youth WHY they live, feel and exist the way they do. This play unapologetically gives you every bit of their raw unfiltered truths. In this play we not only vividly share these untold narratives we also explore the mental health issues amongst and that it is possible for them to overcome.
