Featuring a discussion with Dr. Yvonne King, former member of the Black Panther Party
Friday, April 6, the Philadelphia Liberation Center will be hosting the first of its monthly film screenings. This week we will be showing The Murder of Fred Hampton, a 1971 film documenting the last days and assassination
of radical socialist and Black Panther Fred Hampton by the Chicago Police Department with the help of the FBI.
The screening will be preceded by a talk by Dr. Yvonne King, member of the BPP and community leader who was a party member at the time of Hampton's death.
Join us for an eye opening view into the historic black radical struggle and to discuss how it pertains to our own revolutionary struggles today.
