On 24 May 2017 Khan Marshall was involved in a freak gym accident when 140kgs of weights fell on his neck breaking and dislocating his C4 and C5 vertebrae. As a result of Khan’s spinal cord injury he is currently quadriplegic.
This as you can imagine has completely changed the lives of Khan and his whānau
forever and has overwhelmingly come with a lot of challenges emotionally, physically, mentally but most of all financially.
It is our goal by hosting The ‘Khan Marshall’ Touch Tournament that we are able to raise awareness of this tragic event and funds to financially assist Khan with his long term treatment.
