ABOUT Dr. Neal Barnard
Neal D. Barnard, F.A.C.C., is an author, clinical researcher, and founding president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM).
Dr. Barnard appeared in the 2011 documentary feature film Forks Over Knives, a film that traces the careers of T. Colin Campbell and Caldwell Esselstyn.
Dr. Barnard serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine. He founded the Barnard Medical Center in 2015 as part of PCRM, and it opened in 2016 with him as president; the center provides primary care and emphasizes diet and preventative medicine.
ABOUT Dr. Rosa Kincaid
Dr. Rosa Kincaid, MD, is an author, physician and exercise expert. She has successfully treated thousands of patients with chronic illness through her practice, Kincaid Medical Associates in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Kincaid became a vegetarian in 1971 and experimented with several vegetarian diets including: macrobiotic, lacto-ovo, grapefruit, vegan, soy-meat derivatives and several others. In 1983, while attending Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, she was introduced to "Living Foods". This is a vegan diet where everything is raw and organic.
