Learning Session Description
This half-day learning session will provide an overview of the broad spectrum of labor laws that are often encountered by HR professionals, business owners, and company managers. Then, it would focus more on the hiring process, the preparation of employment contracts, and related company policies. It will also cover the employment of contractual employees and other temporary workforce consistent with the requisites of D.O. No. 18-A (DOLE rules on contractualization). It will likewise touch on with the challenges of unionization in light of the R.A. No. 9481, which made it easier for workers to organize and form unions.
The resource speaker will share tips, techniques, strategies, insights and best practices derived from his long experience in handling labor cases to help HR professionals, business owners and company managers manage the risks of labor complaints and labor disputes that are inherent in every workplace.
