The Climb Book Reading and Signing

G. Weston DeWalt, New York Times Bestselling Co-Author of The Climb: Tragic Ambitions on Everest will be featured at the El Dorado Arts Council.

The recently released “Everest” film has reignited conversation—and controversy—about what really happened on May 10, 1996, near the summit of the

world’s highest peak.

G. Weston DeWalt, who co-wrote The Climb with Head Everest Expedition Guide Anatoli Boukreev, will read from the book and take questions about the chaos in the Death Zone. Copies of

Author book-signing will follow the reading; copies of The Climb will be available for purchase through our friends at
Face In A Book.

Doors open at 6:30 pm with limited seating. Please RSVP with the link above to reserve your spot.
