As most of you know we have had a beautiful baby boy brought into this world to Billy and Mandy Hall on Sept. 19th, 2012., Hayes Anthony Hall. His grandparents are Karl (alumni of Singapore American School) & Missy Duco Theriot ( Pierre Part, Louisiana) and Jeff & Roxanne Hall ( New Roads, Louisiana).
Our special little boy has been born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), a congenital heart defect, which basically means the left side of the heart is severely under developed...half a heart. They have traveled from Pierre Part, Louisiana to Boston Children's Hospital, which is the best facility in the world for his condition. He has come through the 1st of 3 open heart surgeries, the Norwood procedure, which is designed to re-route the blood flow between the heart and lungs. (There is a wealth of information on this and other congenital heart defects on the internet should you be interested in learning more.) They have already spent 4 weeks in Boston and will be there for at least another 3-6 weeks. The second procedure will take place when Hayes is between 4-6 months and then the final will happen between 2-4 years of age. They will travel to and from Boston for all of the surgeries.
Many have been following this little guy and want to know how they can help.
As you can imagine the out of pocket expenses just for travel and lodging alone to this young family are going to be enormous, not to mention other expenses not covered by their insurance. We have set up a fund to help in assisting them with the expenses that will be incurred in the months and years to come. No amount is too small. If you would like to help you can send your very welcome donation to the Pay Pal account of Katy Jordan at Pukikj@msn.com, or you can mail a private check to Katy Jordan (note is for Hayes Hall in memo) and mail to 317 Lake Harbor Ln., Huffman, TX 77336. A non-profit account in Hayes's name has been created for this purpose and all monies will be transferred into this account.
Your love, prayers and support have already been overwhelming to the family. Please continue to pray for Hayes's healthy recovery! This site will be updated with pictures and his progress should you be interested in following this amazing little man. Feel free to add your friends.
