Tales from Bedminster History Walk

Hi all

We've covered Clifton and the Old City, this time the walk will head 'South of the River' for the very first time!

These walks are designed for LGBT people and friends :)

We will be exploring the history of Bedminster and meet some interesting people with a connection to this area.

We will

be meeting outside St Mary Redcliffe Church outside the main enterance on Redcliffe Way. Directions: http://stmaryredcliffe.co.uk/your-visit/directions/

I advise you eat before the walk. There is a cafe in the undercroft at the church, There is also the Olive Shed, Mud Dock, Arnolfini and many cafes on the Waterfront. There is also public conviences in the Undercroft too (important to do that too before the walk!).

THE WALK WILL START PROMPTLY AT 1PM - so please turn up in good time so I can hand you your visual guide and properly greet you :)

The walk will last roughly 2 and a half hours - I have arranged a surprised visit to a hidden venue half way into the walk.

I'm going to book space in a local pub for a post walk drink andf mingle. I hope you can join this and hear your thoughts about the walk.

Later in the evening I'll be going to Don't Tell Your Mother, a group of us will be meeting in the Volunteer Tavern in New Street, St Judes, Bristol, BS2 9DX from 8:30pm
