Story Painters with Joanne Saxon

Do you have a story to tell? Have you ever had a desire to capture some of your memories on paper? Do you enjoy writing?

Join us for a fun-filled way to express yourself with words!

This is not a teaching class – there are no grammar or spelling checks and no tests! Instead, we will write from the

heart and encourage and inspire one another as we paint stories with words.
For each meeting, there will be short assignments – only given to “memory jog” - but these assignments are optional. You may write about whatever you wish for each meeting and however you choose. For example, you might want to do your assignment as a story or a song or a poem! Come and share your story and get help writing it on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at the library!

Intended for ages 50s to 90s. (If you want to lie about your age to get into this great group, we don’t care. We’ll call it “fiction”.)
