Boston is a city of unique and diverse neighborhoods. Some of them are well known and visited by the millenial population - but others not as much. The Neighborhood Tours project seeks to showcase the resources and richness or the neighborhoods and create awareness about the different local issues. This
project was born to create local connections between millenials, their fellow Bostonians, and the city they live in.
Join us April 28th at 12 PM at Stony Brook T station for a tour of Jamaica Plain, one of Boston’s most diverse and vibrant neighborhoods. In partnership with the Jamaica Plain Historical Society, the tour will highlight local history, businesses, and more. Ending in Hyde Square around 1:30 PM, tour attendees are invited by the Hyde Square Task Force to see the play "Raíces". The Task Force will have an introduction to their organization before the play. You can review the tour route here.
