March is Social Work Month and we are highlighting the work of social work entrepreneurs and creating a Skills Sharing Circle to support the capacity of Social Workers throughout Baltimore and the state of Maryland. Since 2005, The Stone Foundation (TSF) has been committed to providing quality mental health services to adults, youth and families who are navigating life’s challenges. Through their Perfected Practice program, TSF extends their impact by equipping other mental health professionals with the information and support they need to build thriving businesses that allow each professional to do the work they came to this field to do.
The Living Well is partnering with the Stone Foundation to provide a Circle of Support to aspiring or established Social Work Entrepreneurs to develop a business acumen that will guide and drive quality service and impact outcomes in the community.
This sharing circle with provide a judgement free environment for budding and seasoned practitioners to get real time feedback about what it takes to succeed while addressing the challenges in working within a multi-faceted environment. Whether you are working, leading in an organization or if you are already a social work entrepreneur you will find this Circle a space where you will expand the following competencies:
Understanding the current landscape of the Helping Profession.
Reflect on your strengths and how to leverage resources and relationships to do your best work in the community.
How and WHY it’s important that you work with insurance companies to build your practice.
How to get support for your clinical work as you grow your business.
What type of skill building training is needed for you to succeed in business.
The Living Well invites you to join us for this 90 Minute Skill Sharing Circle on March 23rd as we collectively celebrate Social Work in the month of March.
This Skill Sharing Circle is Free however we do ask for a small donation of $10.00 to cover refereshments.
