Kate Arends is a St. Paul-based creative and multichannel marketing consultant with over a decade of experience in the design industry. Wit & Delight, founded by Kate Arends in 2009, began as a lifestyle website and has evolved into a brand that celebrates a combination of veracious expression and simple elegance with an approachable, yet edited point of view. Above all, Wit & Delight is dedicated to the development of its contributors and readers, promoting self-discovery, mental health advocacy, and wellness topics as the foundation of a life well lived.

As founder of advertising agency, Nerland Co. (now Edition Studios), founder of the non-profit, Carson Glore Foundation, and now in his marketing and media role at Target, Nathan has always found Social Media at the center of human behavior and marketing trends. As a marketing entrepreneur at 23, Nathan Nerland built an agency before the age of social and quickly adapted and stood up services for his clients, and later using it to start and build their non-profit. Finding passion and purpose, Nathan Nerland founded the Carson Glore Foundation, a non-profit that has started and opened three schools in Kenya with over 1200 students, marketed primarily through social media.

While the direct connection to their clients’ customers, and the foundation’s donors, through social was imperative and successful, Nathan often had his own battles with the stress of portraying a perfect life in such a public forum, as well as the anxiety of comparison. Throughout the past few years, he improved his relationship with the social platforms, taking breaks from time to time and focusing on how to use them as authentically as possible.

Robb McNeill is the Sr. Cultural Art & Experience Director for Latitude, a branding and experience design agency with offices in Minneapolis, Portland and NYC. Robb also owns and operates iMPuLSe Creative, an arts-collective specializing in murals and large-scale art installations which can be seen at local establishments such as Norseman Distillery, Urban Bean Coffee and the MPLS Bouldering Project.

Vanessa McDuffie is a blogger, educator and connector of Minneapolis. She holds many community titles and is quite vocal within it-primarily in social justice, body acceptance and ethical fashion. Vanessa’s website houses all all three, and she loves bringing people together through community work and conversation.
