A challenging 18 mile walk designed for the walking enthusiast, with plenty of ascent and challenging terrain. For the experienced amongst us. difficulty 5 out of 5.
There will be good opportunities to see upland birdlife such as kites, buzzards and red grouse and also some amazing geology including
the 470 million year old shale rocks of the long Mynd and the volcanic hills of Caer Caradoc and Ragleth.
The route involves four steep climbs to summits over 3,200 ft and will provide a stiff challenge to all but the fittest of walkers. To complete the walk will require good levels of fitness and stamina.
We want you to enjoy your walk, but in order to do so, we recommend you take the following precautions:
Carry a waterproof and windproof coat and trousers. The temperature on the summits can be much lower than in the valley and the wind can be much stronger. These two elements combine to lower your body temperature quickly.
Carry a hat and gloves in all but the finest summer weather
Booking is essential as places are limited, so please email email@example.com to book your place. Walks are priced at £5 per person.
