Expose the student to concepts and ideas associated with preparing for, conducting, recording and presenting the conclusions of a site security survey. Prepare the professional to successfully conduct a conclusive security survey report.
Instructor: Monte Gould
Monte actively served in law enforcement for over 28 years and 22 years SWAT. He has participated in protection assignments to include, but not limited to; California Governor Pete Wilson, former President of South Vietnam Nguyen Van Thieu close protection detail, numerous celebrities among others including corporate executives. Monte has provided training and advisory services for the Guatemalan Secret Service (SAAS) in executive protection on numerous occasions from 1995 to 2011. Additionally working alongside these elements and providing close protection to the President and Vice President of Guatemala. He was a member of US Army Special operations, among others he deployed in support of humanitarian relief operations and foreign internal defense in Afghanistan and is a decorated combat veteran with over twenty years of service. Monte is a graduate of ESI (Executive Security International) and is a registered and certified CPS (Close Protection Specialist) Monte has traveled to Hong Kong, Israel, Columbia, Russia and numerous locations throughout North Europe conducting classes, assisting and advising national assets relative to protective & security details. In addition he has consulted, advised and trained elements of the US Army in support of “Protective Security Details” providing security for General Jacoby commander of forces in Iraq. Monte has also instructed as a guest lecturer at Executive Security International (ESI) in Colorado, one the world’s premier Executive Protection Schools. He continues to work on contract with numerous firms and consulting groups throughout the world. He has completed over 200 courses of instruction in various related topics from close protection, security, tactical operations and advanced law enforcement disciplines. Monte is a published author in The National Tactical Officers Association Journal (Tactical Edge), SWAT magazine, Police magazine and others
