Always wanted to know what researchers at the University were up to, but were afraid to ask? Come to our science cabaret! The show will feature a diverse selection of short, highly visual presentations disclosing thought-provoking facts and stimulating topics from animal attraction to catching criminals.
is a free but ticketed event in which audience members will be able to enjoy a complementary glass of wine and nibbles while novel research from biology, computing, health sciences, mathematics, and psychology are unveiled at the event, to be held at the MacRobert Arts Centre. Arrive at 6.45pm for drinks. The show starts at 7pm and is expected to end at 9pm. There will be an interval.
The Science Cabaret is supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council through the POEMS network for predictive modelling for healthcare and is organised by the Stirling Chapter of ScienceGrrl
Talks will be at an appropriate level for those aged 12-100.
