Hey so Scaffold State is starting a Choir.
This is open to all levels of experience in the first instance - a great chance to start to sing if you've always thought about it, or to take things a bit further if you're already established.
It's going to be run out of 120 St Paul's Road - Nearest Stations:
Canonbury Overground and Highbury and Islington Underground.
It's going to be taught by the fantastic Jennifer Rhodes - her biog included at the end of this post - it'll be every Tuesday night for 10 weeks ending in a public concert - Mixed musical styles including pop, rock, musical theatre, opera and choral work.
If it works out we'll see if we can make it into a permanent and ongoing group.
We need at least 20 people to go ahead with this - If we get 20, the cost will be approx £100 for 10 2.5 hr sesions There's no upper limit to numbers, however and the more we have join us, the cheaper it will work out.
If you're interested let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We'll add you to the choir group, keep track of numbers and give a final sense of costing etc in the new year.
