Introducing the second Return of the Westland Petrel Festival!
The Return of the Westland Petrel Festival has been made to celebrate the Westland Petrel. A bird which returns from South America to Punakaiki once a year to breed. All proceedings will go towards raising awareness of the birds to protect
The Festival is a weekend of conservation and entertainment (see timetable below). Coming into the second time the festival has taken place the first event was a huge success and we have decided to do it again! This time with even more going on and fun to be had, not to forget to raise more money for the birds!!
We look forward to seeing new people and second timers again in 2016.
