In honor of Redwood National Park’s 50th anniversary, we’re partnering with the Watershed Stewards Program for a restoration event at Elk Meadow Day Use Area on Saturday, April 7, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm!
Be prepared to get dirty! Help us remove invasive plants and replace them with native vegetation
to open up a pond to juvenile Coho salmon. Wear close-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Gloves and tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!
Ranger-led hikes and family friendly activities will be held throughout the event, with a raffle held towards the end of the day.
