Proof/First Mag Collab Party!

In honor of the first ever collaboration beer between Tallahasee's Proof Brewing Company and Gainesville's very own First Magnitude, we will be hosting a huge collision party the night before the UF-FSU game!

The Proof team will be on hand with four beers on draft in addition to our collaboration. They'll

be bringing with them Sway Jah Vu, a Florida grown alt-reggae band from Tallahasee! With a distinct sound, Sway Jah Vu blends reggae heavy bass and guitar with commanding vocals and hard hitting beats. "We want to push the limits for creating new and exciting music while staying true to our mission of creating a cultural sway."

Representing Gainesville on the stage will be Whale Feral, the young guns who defy categorization. You've seen them on our stage since the summer and know that their show is going to be an incredible mix of Americana that combines intricate composition and raw improvisation, allowing the music to become its own living organism.

This whole things started with the Proof and First Magnitude teams deciding that, though we may have some athletic allegiances in opposition, when it comes to good beer, we're on the same page. The result is Win Win, a New England-style IPA with Apricots that is full of hazy, juicy, fruity citrus character from the totally bonkers amount of dry-hopping we did. The brew also has a very pleasant tart character from the apricots that were added during fermentation. We think that this beer is something fans of both teams can get behind!
