In this 1.5 hour class you and your partner will be empowered and at ease learning essential yoga techniques to find connection with one another and prepare for labor and birth. Yoga is a healing tool to de-stress and address the common discomforts, aches, and pains
of pregnancy. Bring your partner on board and work together to have a nourishing comfortable pregnancy and prepare for your birthing journey!
Practice breath work, acupressure, positions and massage to prepare for labor. Learn a restorative flow you and your partner can do together at home.
About the Instructor:
Yoga has served as a foundation for healing and wellness in Roxy’s life the past 10 years. First beginning as a student in the Hudson Valley, NY then growing into a teacher when she decided to move to Asheville, NC to take the 200hr Yoga Teacher Training immersion at Asheville Yoga Center. Living in Asheville, NC the past 6 years she found her passion and life’s work as a birth and postpartum doula. Through that work, she found a new purpose and calling in teaching pre/post-natal yoga. She believes it is a privilege and gift to be present during this raw, subtle, transformational time in life. She is honored to guide women through a therapeutic practice that fosters courage and connection.
