You are out for a paddle on a lake or slow moving river and you see a shinny thing passing under the kayak. You lean over to look and….WHOOPS! Now what? We have a class that teaches “Now What?”. Come join us at Boylan High School Aquatic Center from 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm. The Flatwater Kayak Safety and Rescue
workshop introduces essential flatwater safety practices and rescue techniques that can be performed with a minimum of equipment, in the first few minutes of an incident. Avoid long cold swims to shore dragging 90 gallons of water. Learn and practice both solo and team rescue procedures for ALL types of kayaks!
The price for this experience is $60 with rental, $30 if you have your own vessel. Class size is limited to 5 participants. Give us a call at 815-636-9066 or sign up below to reserve your spot!
