For almost 40 years, Patagonia has supported grassroots activists working to find solutions to the environmental crisis. But in this time of unprecedented threats, it’s often hard to know the best way to respond. Come listen to Elizabeth Kucinich
moderate a panel discussion, with Senator Michael Bennet, Patagonia’s VP of Social + Environmental Responsibility, Cara Chacon, Policy Specialist, Alyssa Charney from National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition, and Founder + Executive Director of Dreaming Out Loud Community Markets, Chris Bradshaw. The discussion will be focused on how the bettering of our food systems can affect our planet. Patagonia will share a new activist platform, Patagonia Action Works, and local nonprofit groups such as DC Greens, City Kids Wilderness Project, Cheasapeake Bay Foundation, Ocean Conservancy, South River Federation, + Living Classrooms Foundation will be in attendance to provide us all an outlet for action. Doors open at 7PM. Event starts at 8PM.
