The Oxford Human Rights Festival has become one of the most important events of the year at Oxford Brookes University. For the 14th year the festival will bring together people of different backgrounds to participate in a culture packed festival that engages with a constant issue from across the globe.
Through this selection of film, art and design, poetry, talks and workshops, we aim to raise awareness of a range of human rights issues here in the UK and across the world. The festival is free and open to everyone- so come along!
The overall theme of the festival this year is Adversity, and in particular four sub-themes:
Women in Adversity
Environmental adversity: climate change
Fleeing adversity: refugees
Adversity closer to home
