Op Art to Zentangle for Grades K-5th, Wednesday of vacation week. Look at examples of Op Art designs from the ‘60’s and see how they have influenced the Zentangle creations of today. The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.
We call these patterns tangles. You can create tangles with combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves orbs. These simple shapes are “Elemental Strokes” in all Zentangle art. These patterns are dawn on small pieces of paper called “tiles.” We call them tiles because you can assemble them into mosaics. Have fun and relax while creating your own unique designs. All materials provided. Please wear clothes or coverings for messy work – some colors are permanent! Click here for a printable flyer.
