Annual One Lap of Columbus for PTSD Awareness
Brought to you by the Ohio G/Z/GTR Club, an Ohio-registered nonprofit organization.
Join us and participate in a fundraising awareness event to benefit military veterans affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
A presidential police escort
will be provided by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The lap route for 2018 is to be determined.
Spots in the escorted lap will be limited to a specific number as required by the Ohio State Highway Patrol to ensure the safety of participants and officers involved.
Your ticket purchase guarantees your spot in the escorted lap as well as general admission to the event.
The event is hosted with one of our closest partners, Quaker Steak & Lube Polaris. The bar will be open and beverages will be available inside of the fenced parking area for the duration of the event. Proceeds from beverage purchases from the trolleys in the parking lot will be donated. There will be music, cars, and lots of great people to hang out with. 50/50 raffles, door prizes, and additional entertainment will be provided.

Any participants violating a direct order of positioning in the parking lot or escorted lap will be subject to ejection from the event without refund.
How does the lap work?
A predetermined route will be agreed upon between the organizers of the event and the Ohio State Highway Patrol. This route will be closed off to non-participating traffic for the duration of the parade's presence.
Participants in the lap will be briefed in a short driver's meeting which ALL participants are required to attend. The briefing will be given by Ohio State Highway Patrol officers. The rules and regulations presented during this driver's meeting are non-negotiable and anyone found in violation of them during the lap will be subject to criminal prosecution by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
We take the safety of our participants and their vehicles very seriously for this event, and there will be no second chances. Anyone found to be presenting an intentional safety risk in violation of the rules presented by the officers will be banned from the site.
