“Our aim is to have dogs that are motivated, happy and accurate in their work. Having a solid foundation is invaluable for Obedience, so our basics (which include play, body awareness, release cue and impulse control) form a very important part of our training.
To prepare our dogs for competing later on, we want our dogs to have a really good understanding of what is expected in the exercises.
This, together with a lot of fun rewards, interesting training and a dog who has the confidence to not worry about making mistakes, form the basis of our philosophy. Our top priority for competition is to have a dog who is mentally free so he can happily commit himself to the exercises with full concentration and no fear of failure. The mental well being of the dog is paramount."
