We’ve nearly completed work on the O-Bahn City Access Project and we’d like to celebrate – and thank you for your patience during this important project.
Come along to the O-Bahn Community Fun Day from 11am to 3pm on Sunday 10 December and enjoy a market, food and drink stalls, exhibitions,
family activities and entertainment, performances by local musicians …
PLUS the chance to walk through the tunnel before it opens for use!
We’ll be posting updates in the lead up so please check back here for more.
O-Bahn bus services will be FREE between 10am and 4pm on Sunday 10 December.
The O-Bahn City Access Project will deliver a 670 metre dedicated tunnel linking priority bus lanes on Hackney Road and Grenfell Street. The tunnel will improve travel times and reliability for Adelaide’s busiest public transport network, which is used by more than 31,000 people each weekday. The project will also improve travel times and reliability for more than 79,000 road users who use this part of the Inner Ring Route each weekday, at the intersection of Hackney Road and North Terrace.
Buses will begin using the tunnel soon after this community fun day.
