Please Join Us for the seventh annual Nouvelle Annee French Winter Garrsion event at Historic Old Fort Wayne. In Fort Wayne Indiana.
This year our event year is set for 1756, the event will strive to recreate this year and the events and happenings of Post du Miamis in the winter of this New Year.
This event focuses on the day to day life of a french colonial settlement/garrison and their Native Allies. All impressions correct for colonial Indiana under the French Regime are welcome.
This year our event will be slightly different than in years past, due to personal health concerns of mine and time constraints related to those health issues the following changes should be noted:
Meals will be everyone's own responsibility this year. We may have some snacks offered in the commandants office but for now meals are BYO.
Registration will be On Line and their will be no fee this year. Look for the registration link to follow below shortly.
It is asked that all participants donate kindly to the Fort to cover fire wood expenditures. But no formal registration fee will be levied.
Sunday is a travel day, plan to clean and leave the site sunday morning.
I will need volunteers for event planning for skits and scenarios on saturday. Unfortunately I have not the time to help manage this, so I need all to pitch in with ideas or take charge of some scenarios for the public to view.
LASTLY JUST TO RESTATE - THE EVENT IS ON!
