April 3 - 7 at 8 p.m. and April 7 at 2 p.m.
directed by BIRGIT SCHREYER DUARTE
A mother reaches out to the soldier who killed her son. A hipster fights his way through the war that is breaking out around him by reciting his Facebook timeline. An old woman tries to stop
the noise and dies; a young girl buries her body, an act of kindness that makes the Man who rules the world shake. Noise is about war and fear, about forgiveness and compassion. Noise is a play with a happy ending, in a world that has learned not to trust in happy endings. Winner of the German Playwright's Award ('Deutschsprachiger Autorenpreis') at the Heidelberger Stückemarkt 2016, the Else-Lasker-Schüler Award for Best New Play (Stückepreis) 2016.
