Celebrating the diversity of singing without instruments at The Queens Hall, Narberth, Pembrokeshire
Wales’ only a cappella festival, the Narberth A Cappella Voice Festival, presented by Span Arts, makes a proud return for its 8th year from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 February 2016, in an exciting weekend
that celebrates the extraordinary diversity of singing without instruments.
This year the festival is led by new Director, Paula Redway who works with Span Arts to celebrate the art of a cappella with a weekend of singing, performance, and workshops.
Narberth A Cappella Voice Festival 2016 features The Sons of Pitches – as seen on TV, South African Zulu Male Choir, Côrdydd and Côr Pawb and much much more!
The festival aims to bring the appeal of a cappella to as wide an audience as possible with fun and friendly performances, workshops for all abilities and events by highly acclaimed, popular and captivating performers. The festival is unique as it pushes the boundaries of traditional a cappella singing and allows the audience to experience different cultures and singing styles, featuring traditional and non-traditional a cappella artists from around the world.
Since 2008, the festival has run over a weekend every February, and features performances, workshops, and the very popular Big Sing, which is an opportunity for members of the public to join the performers in a 100+ strong choir and raise the roof in resounding unison.
