Printemps series with Trio Karénine!
Saturday, 14 April 2018 @ 20H | Reid Hall | 75006
Category 1: 25€ | Student/under 28: 15€
Spring has arrived and we are delighted to welcome the return of Trio Karénine in an emotionally charged series
of concerts. For our Music by the Glass series in April, we present two works by Johannes Brahms and Arnold Schönberg, originally composed for string sextet and later reimagined as piano trios. The result is a fresh perspective—intense yet very intimate. Also on the program, a luminous work composed in 1917 by Germaine Tailleferre, who was part of the new generation of French composers «Les Six» along with Darius Milhaud and Francis Poulenc, among others. Our unique Music by the Glass chamber series creates a blend of culture and privileged conversations, chamber music and excellent wine, offering an intimate experience to our guests.
We are pleased to offer two dates for this series: Friday, April 13 @ 8:00pm, in the modern residence of one of our wonderful patrons, located just off of Rue de la Tombe Issoire in the 14th arrondissement; and Saturday, April 14 @ 8:00pm, in the historic and elegant Reid Hall, which is under the governance of the Columbia Global Center and situated in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
