The fastest way to accelerate your modelling career; the Pinup Academy’s coaching & mentoring workshops offers potential models a full day of practical

training on all aspects of being successful as a model. Places are limited to just 8 Models.

There’s a lot more to being a model than looking good (although that helps), as you’ll learn from our lead photographer and trainer; Si Brailsford accompanied by 2 of highly experienced models from the Pinup Academy's UK Pinup Dolls, Amelia Belle & Juniper Crush during this step-by-step practical workshop.

The day is split into two, the morning session starts with quick introductions followed by a “How to” guide and open discussion led by Si assisted by Amelia & Juniper from the Pinup Academy. We cover everything from self-promotion and marketing to finding work and staying safe, this is an open discussion group making sure you get the answers to all your questions and lots more.

Talking about modelling is not modelling, so we quickly move into the studio for some practical sessions, covering posing techniques with plenty of tips & tricks, we cover topics such as understanding light, posture and positioning. As a model it’s important that you always look your best and with the help of Amelia & Juniper we’ll show you how to achieve this.

You can physically see our models change as their confidence and posture develops throughout the morning, plus as an added bonus you get to add some amazing pictures to your portfolio taken by Si throughout the morning's session.

After lunch we’re back in the studio joined by up to 8 photographers, this session is designed to simulate a typical model day; only under a controlled environment with our 2 experienced models leading the way, always on-hand to guide and direct you where needed. “Model Days” are frequently run by local camera clubs and photography studios and can provide a regular source of income to models, so it’s important that you feel comfortable and confident in this environment and that you know how to work with what's available and where necessary be able to take control. Many photographers new to the modelling scene will be grateful of a good model; who’s posing repertoire allows them to focus on their camera settings and lighting.

The afternoon session lasts until 6pm giving plenty of opportunity for each of our model candidates (restricted to 8 models) to work with all of the photographers, remember our models are there to help with posing and direction and Si will be on-hand looking after the photographers, studio sets, lighting etc.

These workshops provide a controlled environment for new models to get to work with different photographers and a fabulous opportunity to build their modelling portfolios.

Numbers are strictly limited, so if you're looking to accelerate your modelling career, boost your portfolio and network with other models and photographers click!

A buffet lunch is provided at 1pm where we'll be joined by the photographers attending the afternoon session.
