MeToo Journalism: investigating Larry Nassar and USA Gymnastics

WKU School of Journalism and Broadcasting and the John B. Gaines Family Lecture Series are honored to present a special Sexual Assault Prevention Month conversation with the investigative reporters who broke the Larry Nassar sex abuse case and helped bring justice to more than 150 victims.


reporters Marisa Kwiatkowski, Mark Alesia and Tim Evans will discuss the Nassar case and sex abuse in USA Gymnastics in a panel moderated by WKU Journalism Professor Amanda J. Crawford. A q&a will follow with the audience both live and via social media.

The event is free and open to the public. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.

The discussion will be live streamed as well and the audience and remote viewers are invited to participate in the conversation online by using both the #MeTooJournalism and #WKUGaines hashtags.
