Lupe Fiasco and Twista

Lupe Fiasco and Twista, return to Honolulu for huge Spring Break performance at Aloha Tower Marketplace on Saturday, March 23rd!

Two of Hip Hop’s best emcees are converging on The Aloha Tower Marketplace to cap off the spring break weekend with a huge concert experience. Backed by a full band, Grammy

Award Winner Lupe Fiasco will headline the event with a full 8-piece band. Also on the lineup is Twista, one of the biggest hip-hop stars of the last decade with his chopper style of rapping and for once holding the title of fastest rapper in the world according the Guinness World Records in 1992, being able to pronounce 598 syllables in 55 seconds.

Known for his ‘conscious’ hip-hop, Lupe Fiasco broke onto the scene in 2006 with his breakout hit “Kick, Push”. Since then he has delivered 6-studio albums and numerous mixtapes that included the smash hits “Superstar”, “Battlescars”, “The Show Must Go On” and more! GQ’s Man of the Year 2016, Lupe Fiasco continues to elevate music barriers with his newest album DROGAS Light.

In 1997, Twista was signed to Big Beat Records after appearing on Do or Die's hit single "Po Pimp" in 1997. His 2004 album Kamikaze reached the top of the US Billboard 200 album chart, after the success of the Billboard Hot 100 #1 single "Slow Jamz" that featured both Kanye West and Jamie Fox. Other singles on the album included "Overnight Celebrity" and "So Sexy" featuring R. Kelly. Today, Twista is one of the hardest workers in Hip Hop with the release of 7 albums in the past 5 years including his latest release “Reloaded”.
