Luminata is a glowing celebration of the season of balance welcoming the Autumn Equinox. Gather for a lantern-lit procession around Green Lake Park. Everyone is welcome to be a part of this parade of light, music, and glowing costumes as we begin the gentle shift from the exuberance of summer to the
cooler days of autumn. Fill the park with light, art, and live acoustic music. Bring your favorite lantern, don your best costume, and sip on hot cider as you embrace the changing of the seasons with family and friends, old and new.
Don’t have a lantern? Lantern-making workshops will be announced beginning this week, and lanterns will also be available for purchase at the park.
Do you have a marvelous illuminated creation or performance piece in your mind, in progress, or created and itching to get out into the world? Please submit your proposal by September 12th. If you need assistance getting something spectacular off the ground, Art Grants are available to those who apply by August 18th.
