The Lowell PTO will once again hold a food drive to benefit the St. Patrick - St. Vincent de Paul’s Food Pantry. We had such a generous amount to donate last year and would love to be able to do so again this year. With over 400 children in the school if each child brought in one item just think about
how that would benefit families in need during the holidays.
Here are items that we will be collecting:
>Grains: Brown or wild rice, quinoa/cous-cous, steel cut or rolled oats, whole grain cereals
>Proteins: Canned fish or chicken, beans, lentils, nuts, seeds, nut butters:peanut, almond, sunflower
>Fruit & Veg: canned not in syrup, dried fruits, canned soup
>Herbs & Spices: green or white tea, spices(any), Oil: olive, canola, sesame
>Toiletries: Toilet paper, tooth paste, toothbrushes, feminine products, q-tips
The Food Drive will be held Monday, Dec. 14th through Friday, Dec. 18th. There will be boxes to drop off your goods in the main entrance of the school.
Thank you for your support!
