By foot (READ!):
Due to various reasons the pedestrian access at the boat is a hole in the fence next to the Bascule Bridge bus stop.. we know.. it sounds dodgy, it isn't. There will be posters marking the hole.. go on, step on through the rabbit hole. Then carefully make your way down the steps of doom and onto the boat..
The closest stations are Gallions Reach (DLR) and King George V (DLR). The 474 bus stops right outside The Boat at the Bascule Bridge bus stop (bus stops J and K).
Driving on Woolwich Manor Way cross the bridge onto Albert Island (from either side) and turn into the first road. Take the first left and follow the road into the car park.
There is a big parking lot at The Boat which can be used free of charge.
