As part of Brooklyn Museum's exhibition 'David Bowie is', Little Cinema proudly presents an immersive screening of the biographical drama Basquiat (Julian Schnabel, 1996, 108 min.) featuring David Bowie as Andy Warhol.
This film honors the legacy of two artistic legends, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy
Warhol, and explores their relationship against the backdrop of the changing New York City art scene in the 1980s. Featuring live music accompaniment by Brian Kelly (whose music is featured on the original film soundtrack)dance performances by The Love Show, and AV mixing and interludes by Little Cinema's Founder and Creative Director, Chnnls.
Tickets are $16 and include general admission entry to the Brooklyn Museum -- this price does not include entry to the 'David Bowie is' exhibition. Tickets for museum members are $10.
