Runako Gregg, Acting Staff Lawyer for the African-Canadian Legal Clinic of Toronto, will speak at a public forum, organized by the Community Coalition Against Racism (CCAR), on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at 7 pm at the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre, 34 Ottawa Street North.
From 7 to 8 pm, Mr. Gregg
will answer your question about your rights when stopped by cops on the street or in your car. From 8 to 9 pm, he will assess the potential impact on people of colour and aboriginal origin of Ontario Community Safety's Minister Naqvi's draft regulations on carding and racial profiling.
