The Kings are rightly honoured and humbled to be returning to the very heart and essence of the Ottawa Valley on March 23, 2018 for a rousing evening of playing their music for good patrons. C'mon and join everyone for a run of great songs in a very special music hall: Batstone's Northern Ramble. Renfrew
- Railway & Raglan. The wonderful Bella Cat Music will be closing out the evening. Special thanks to Mr. Dean Batstone and Jon Christink for their valued support. Bless ~ Kings
A 130-year-old former Baptist Church has been transformed into a listening place where 'Song is King'. 'Midnight Ramble's' originally grew out of jam sessions which erupted spontaneously after private showings (public showings were banned at the time) of early, Black produced Hollywood films. Levon Helm (Drummer from The Band) adopted the name for his now legendary musical gatherings at his home studio near Woodstock, NY. Inspired by the idea of great, live, original music presented in an intimate setting (having attended many Midnight Rambles] Singer/Songwriter Dean Batstone brings this spirit to Eastern Ontario's newest live music venue, Batstone's Northern Ramble.
