Sunday morning will see the Kilmore & Inch puppet team participating in the Family Service at Kilmore.
As the team has developed, there have been more members join and with each practice and service, the level of expertise and experience grows.
This Sunday is particularly special as it coincides with
the annual Teddy Bear service. Whilst this is aimed at the children in the congregation, it has become customary for children of all ages to bring a teddy.
Whilst the teddies are a little bit of fun, there is an important message to be learned about love. We love those around us and, in particular, children become tremendously attached to a favourite toy or teddy but the love (phileo or brotherly love) we have for these pales into insignificance when we start to get a grasp of the love (agape or sacrificial love) that God has for each one of us.
The teddies just point the first child-live step along a life-long path.
