The Morris Book Shop is happy to host Jesse Wooton as he reads from and signs, "Into the Hills, The Garden."
About the book:
A dark gift allows Paul Sizemore to see things he shouldn’t. He knows every secret in every heart in the eastern Kentucky holler he was raised in. His family’s Pentecostal faith
marks him as something evil—can he overcome a witch’s destiny to do right by the sister he adores, or will the darkness within him destroy everything he knows and loves?
Praise for "Into the Hills":
"Vividly written; I could 'see' the characters as the story unfolded. Emotionally charged, it was impossible to put down." -Renee Back, Professor, Hazard Community and Technical College.
About the author:
Jesse Lee Wooton grew up in eastern Kentucky, with an overprotective mother and a disturbing number of cousins. After high school, he spent time at three universities, a community college, a mortician's trade school, and a state hospital for the insane. This is his first novel.
