Open Water Swim Training weekend
Hitting the Wall !!! – Can you break through it?
This weekend is for everyone.
Skins and wetsuit swimmers, fast and slow, Long distance, short distance, relay teams, solo channel swimmers. The lot. Get a head start on your 2016 challenge !
We will address improved
technique and swim speed in open water.
We will also focus on taking your mind and body to the limits and learning tools you're going to need in open water swimming and most of all, in the channel or challenge of your choice.
We will be providing training and tips on the following:
Cold Water Swimming
Feeding Techniques and Nutrition
Mindsets & Psychology - swimmer and crew
Taking you to your limits and back
Teaching your crew how to look after you the swimmer before, during and after your swim
Rough Sea Swimming (depending on weather)
Answer your open water swimming questions
...and yes you will have time for swimming too!
The training will be based in and around Carlingford Lough Co Down and Co Louth Ireland
