Hidden Disabilities

Join us in Burlington City Hall's Contois Auditorium for Hidden Disabilities, Thursday 11/16 at noon.

This event will be ASL interpreted.

Autism, dyslexia, Deaf, hard of hearing, neurological issues, chronic pain, fybromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, psychiatric disability, intellectual disabilities,

multiple sclerosis. This is a short list of specific disabilities people live with that can be invisible to others.

In your daily life, it's likely you interact with family members, friends or community members with hidden disabilities, or maybe you have a hidden disability yourself. Disabilities that aren’t readily apparent are important to understand. No matter your field—from human resources, social services and education, to customer service or even website development—understanding hidden disabilities will help you navigate the world better.

Come to be inspired by our panelists. Hear personal experiences and important facts, and gain access to helpful resources.
